About Driver CPC Part 2 Test
The test consists of 7 case studies, presented as short stories about situations you might face as a professional driver. Each case study includes 6 to 8 multiple-choice questions. The entire test takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete, and you'll need to score at least 40 out of 50 to pass.
You can book the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Part 2 Case Studies test as soon as you obtain your provisional licence. There's no need to pass the CPC Part 1 theory test beforehand. However, if you're requalifying as an HGV or bus driver by taking Parts 2 and 4, we will need to book your test by phone rather than online.
