Category D Training Kent

Train to Become a Professional Bus or Coach Driver

Category D is the full passenger-carrying vehicle licence used by professional bus and coach drivers. It covers eligible vehicles carrying more than eight passengers.

Kent Training provides complete licence-acquisition packages for individual candidates and transport operators, covering medicals, provisional entitlement, theory tests, practical training, DVSA tests and Driver CPC where required.

Practical tuition develops safe vehicle control, passenger comfort, observation, road positioning, manoeuvring and the professional standards expected within passenger transport.

Candidates who only need to drive a minibus with up to 16 passenger seats should review the Category D1 course before booking the full Category D route.
